FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

For a better understanding of how everything works, here is a list of items that may answer your questions.

1. When will the league start?
You can select the day and time you want to play from the available leagues. The league will start on your assigned day. Leagues will only start when the required number of players are met. If there are not enough players, the league will be cancelled and your registration money will be refunded to your player account.
2. How much is it?
Payment for your league is due on the first day of your league. Each league description will tell you how much your 10 week league will cost.  The remaining weeks are played in a freeroll style. Same Chips and Rounds as the Regular Game.
3. How do we register?
Once you have made your selection, simply complete the registration form. Click here.

4. Who gets the prize package and exactly what is it?

The overall point winner once your league is completed will be awarded the prize package.  Any remaining monies over the prize package will be distributed to the finalists.  Built into each prize package is the Poker Leagues USA administration fee of $100.00 or 10% with a $100.00 Maximum.

5. How do we get our money?

All league monies are held in a Poker Leagues USA escrow account on Pokerari.com. Once the league is completed, the monies will be transferred to your player account for you to withdraw.

6. What do I do for transportation and hotel from the prize package?

Poker USA will transfer the monies allocated for transportation and hotel from the league. You will be responsible for making the arrangements and payments yourself.

7. What if I can't play each week of the league?

Unfortunately, if you do not play on any given week, you will not be awarded any points.

8. How do the points work?

Once the league is closed, the total number of players will determine the total number of points available per week. For example, if there are 23 players, the first place winner will get 23 points, second place 22, third 22, and so on.  This point structure creates a very tight leader board and healthy competition! If a player does not show up to play, they will receive zero points for that week.

9. What if there is a tie for first place?

In the event of a tie, the players will play a heads up match to determine the winner. IF IN THE EVENT THE FIRST PLACE WINNER CAN NOT ATTEND THE EVENT, THEY WILL BE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ONE OTHER EVENT. IF THEY CAN'T ATTEND THAT ONE, THEY FORFEIT THE PACKAGE AND THE SECOND PLACE WINNER WILL BE GRANTED THE SEAT.
